Karnataka Tourism Department closed most of the Tourist destinations in Karnataka due to Corona Virus Threat. The closed tourist center includes the World Heritage Site Hampi.
Other Closed Tourist Spots are
- Mysore Palace
- Vrindavan Gardens
- Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary
- Nagerhole National Park
- Bandipur
- Mysore Zoo
- Madikeri
- Chickmangalore
- Bannerghatta National Park
Hampi is one of most visited tourist destination in India. The Flag off function of the famous Golden Chariot Train service which was supposed to be conducted on March 22nd is postponed.
Opening of the tourist destination will be reviewed after one week considering the impact of Corona Virus
