Tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Lalbagh Flower Show 2019
The Republic Day special Flower Show at Lalbagh will pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi - The Father of the Nation. The Nation will be celebrating the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on October 2nd 2019.
The Glass house at Lalbagh which is the main center of Flower Show will have a floral replica of Sabarmathi Ashramam made of 5 Lakh Chrysanthemum roses. Another major installation in the Glass House will be the floral replica of the Raj Ghat Memorial. There will be two millet made installations opposite the glass house, one for Gandhi walking with his grandson and another one of him walking with children.

Time: 9.30AM IST - 7.00PM IST
Entry Fee: INR70.00 for Adult, INR10.00 for children
Flower shows are conducted in Lalbagh every year during the week of Republic Day and Independence Day. Flower shows in Lalbagh are conducted to educate people about the variety of plants and develop a habit of planting trees and conserving them. There will be over 100+ stalls in Lalbagh for selling plants
