Republic Day Flower at Lalbagh 2020

The 2020 Republic Day special Flower Show at Lalbagh will pay floral tribute to Swami Vivekananda. The Nation will be celebrating the 157th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The Glass House at Lalbagh which will be the mail center of attraction of Lalbagh Flower Show will have a 19feet tall floral statue of Swami Vivekananda.

Another major installation in the Glass house will be the floral models of Temple of Kanyakumari and Memorial Hall of Chickago. A statue of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa (Vivekananda's Teacher) and Sarada Devi will also be put up in the Lalbagh Flower Show

Entry Fee: INR70.00 for Adult, INR 10.00 for children

Flower shows are conducted in Lalbagh everyyear during the week of Republic Day and Independence Day. Flower Shows are conducted to educate people about the variety of plants and develop a habit of planting trees and conserving them. There will be over 100+ stalls in Lalbagh for selling plants
