Six Indian Places added to the Tentative List of UNESCO World Heritage Site
Six Indian sites have been selected in Tentative List of UNESCO World Heritage Site. The submissions where made by the Archeological Survey of India. The Six sites are
1. Satpura Tiger Reserve
2. Iconic River Front of the Historic City of Varanasi
3. Hire Benkal Megalith Site
4. Maratha Military Architecture
5. Bhedaghat- Lametaghat in Narmada Valley - Jabalpur
6. Temples of Kanchipuram
Ministry of Culture tweeted this happy news "Delighted and Proud that @ASIGoI had submitted a proposal for India's 9 places for inclusion in tentative list of UNESCO, where six sites have been selected in Tentative List of @UNESCO World Heritage Site (Tweet Link)

The other three sites out of the 9 places proposed was Mubarak Mandi of Jammu, Tail Wild Life Sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh and Geoglyph of Konkan
